A community announcement message from Gary and the team at Fingal Valley Neighbourhood House and Trish and the team at St Helens Neighbourhood House.
The Houses are practising social distance in accordance with advice from our Government. Whilst this has meant that the way we run our services has needed to change, we wanted to reassure our community we are still here to help where we can.
We wish to ensure that people in our community can remain connected, supported and engaged. And to do so in a safe way that doesn't put anyone at risk of infection. Together we can make sure no one feels like they are doing this on their own. We live in a great community and history has taught us at a time of crisis we are at our best – we have always come together to support one another with kindness and understanding.
We are putting together a database of people who would like support and also details of those who wish to give support to their fellow community members. For example, you may like to offer to make a friendly phone call to someone who is self-isolating. Please click on the link below to complete the short registration form.
We strongly encourage our community members who may become isolated due to quarantine or fear of the virus to keep in touch.
Email Gary at email@example.com or text your details to 0437 550 571
Email Trish at firstname.lastname@example.org or text your details to 0474139935
There is a dedicated hotline 1800 671 738 if you suspect you have been infected
Let's all commit random acts of kindness in this very challenging time we are living in.
